An overview of what is being built, what is planned, and what ideas are on the backlog.

Q3 2026

Planned
  • Smarter name search Planned

Searching by surname also returns results for historical spelling variants, such as Beke, Beeke and Beecke when searching for Beek.

  • Filter by source type Planned

Additional filter on source type alongside the existing record type filter. For example Landgericht, Stadsgericht or Militia register.

  • More Twente archives Planned

Expansion with archives from municipalities such as Almelo, Haaksbergen, Wierden and Tubbergen.

  • Improvement server infrastructure Planned

Improvement of the server infrastructure for more stable and reliable operation.

  • Add JSON-LD structured data to record detail pages Planned

Add JSON-LD to /nl/akte/ and /en/record/ pages so Google understands the semantic content (name, year, place, archive, record type). Improves discoverability in search results.
